Wellness Challenge — April 2025

Challenge:

For the month of April, commit to dedicating the first 15-30 minutes of your day to a mindful practice before diving into your usual routine. This means we’re replacing the habitual tendency to pick up the phone and doom-scroll on social media and be more intentional about how we start our day!

How to Participate:

  • Choose Your Practice: This could be anything that helps you start your day with intention. Choose whatever makes you feel the most grounded, but if you need some ideas to get started, check out the following:

    • Meditation: Dedicate 5-15 minutes to quiet meditation. Check out Spotify or YouTube for guided meditations.

    • Stretching or Yoga: My personal favorite is kicking off the morning by moving the body with some yoga.

    • Journaling: Journaling is a practice that I struggle with, but when I do make time to journal in the morning, I always enter my day with the most clarity and alignment. So, I encourage you to spend time reflecting on your intentions for the day or practicing gratitude.

    • Personal Growth/Self-help Reading: Start your day with an uplifting or spiritual text.

  • Be Consistent: Aim for every day of the month, but be kind to yourself if you miss a day. The goal is to build a habit of intentional and slow mornings.
